VISIT CONGRESS WEBSITE

The congress will be held at Tokyo Big Site, Ariake, from 17 to 19 November 2010 in conjunction with the 35th International Healthcare Engineering Exhibition (HOSPEX 2010).

The main theme is "Healthcare Engineering against Cultural Background", and sub-themes are:

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES; INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY; RISK MANAGEMENT;

HOSPITAL PLANNING AND DESIGN; CLINICAL ENGINEERING; FACILITY MANAGEMENT; INFECTION CONTROL;

Call for papers deadlines are: proposed paper abstracts 01 May; notification of acceptance 01 June; submission of full final papers 30 September.

Provisional program summary

Monday 15 November, the IFHE Executive Committee meeting; and Tuesday 16; the IFHE Council meeting, will be held at the Tokyo Baycourt Hotel. Thursday 18, the IFHE General Assembly at the congress venue.

Wednesday 17: IFHE congress opening ceremony; luncheon seminars; organized sessions and the Welcome Buffet. Thursday 18: congress sessions continue; Friday 19: Technical visits to public/private engineering laboratories and hospitals. Congress concludes with a Dinner Party in Ginza.
