Abstract
The management and control systems installed in large hospital buildings employ generic strategies to adjust the system operation to heat demand of the building.
These strategies, even if they get a properly operation of the facilities ,do not always allow to
achieve the optimum energy efficiency of the system, since they do not conform to the
characteristics of a specific building and its particular use. The article describes the strategies on how to improve the energy efficiency in it.
